In 2008, three twenty-something attorneys met at one of Kansas City’s largest law firms. Youthful and daring, they decided to do something different. Create a clothing store where people want to shop, by mixing outstanding product with a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.

Driven by passion and aided by friends, founders David Lloyd, Shomari Benton, and McClain Bryant wanted to create a clothing store that did more than just sell clothes.  Combining modern architecture, local art, vintage furniture, and a clear emphasis on doing something with and for the community, the three envisioned a locally supported endeavor that offers the city something new.

In April 2010, method. opened its doors.
